Difference between male and female molly fish

It is very easy to distinguish a male molynesia from a female. The body of the female is more rounded, while the body of the male is thinner. In addition, females have a fan-shaped anal fin, while males have more developed fins called gonopods. This is the main characteristic by which they can be distinguished. The image above shows a male and female Molly with the fan-shaped fin you can see in the image below. Mollies exist in large numbers and all species have similar body characteristics.
